**Life’s Compromises**
The Woodland division was marching across the field. They had until sundown to re-connect with the Grassland division. The Woodlands had never been out exploring for so long and their branches were showing signs of decay; their captain had let time get away from them.
This mission had been an attempt to locate a new division, which could help them with their sustenance; their families were depending on them but once again had failed. They hadn’t been able to make it past the River division. They had lost so many to the white current and the captain couldn’t risk anymore of his soldiers.
The Woodlands would just have to try to find another way beyond the River division. But for now, the Woodlands and their families would have to make the compromises needed in order to live in harmony among the Grasslands.

Fascinating perspective of the world around us. Competing armies. Like it.
Thanks, Paul! My ego is not so big. I see the struggle of all living beings 🙂
